09/07/22 Zoom Meeting – Welcome Back and Summer Photos. Please post up to five digital images here before noon on September 6. Use your name and image titles as the filename; e.g., FirstLastName-Summer1.jpg, FirstLastName-Summer2.jpg, etc.
09/21/22 In Person Competition, Digitals and Prints – Judge is Darin Reed.

10/09/22 PFLI Photorama 2022 – Sunday October 9, 2022 from 9:30 to 2:30 PM at Firemen’s Memorial Park, 555 Ceiling Blvd, Lindenhurst, NY 11757. See details here.
10/19/22 In-Person Competition, Digitals and Prints – Judge is Frank Silverman. You may submit two prints in each category, color and black and white, for this month, allowing you to stockpile prints during the winter Zoom competition months.

10/26/22 In Person Meeting, BYO Still Lifes Night – Bring various items that can be used to create tabletop still lifes. Bring your camera and tripod and we can all have a chance to create and photograph our multiple vignettes.
  NOVEMBER
11/02/22 Zoom Meeting, Still Life Theme Night – Show us your still lifes taken on October 26 (or any other recent still lifes). Upload up to five images. Use your name and image titles as the file names; e.g., FirstLastName-Still1.jpg, FirstLastName-Still2.jpg, etc.
11/16/22 In Person Competition, Digitals and Prints – Judge is Mike DiRenzo. You may submit two prints in each category, color and black and white, for this month, allowing you to stockpile prints during the winter Zoom competition months.

12/03/22 Possible Meet-Up Photo Walk in Port Jefferson for the Dickens Festival – Meet at 10:30 AM, in time for the parade at 11:00 AM down East Main Street to the Village Center. DETAILS MAY CHANGE.
12/07/22 Zoom Theme Night: Thanksgiving, Family shots, Seasonal Foods Photos – Upload up to 5 images. Use your name and image titles as the file name; e.g., FirstLastName-Holiday1.jpg, FirstLastName-Holiday2.jpg, etc.
12/14/22 Zoom Competition, Digitals Only – Judge is Russell Grace.

12/15/22 Holiday Party – Thursday December 15th 6:30-9:30 PM at the Port Jefferson Village Center.

Bring your significant other, along with a hot or cold covered dish, entree, desert, or appetizer. There is a microwave in the room if you need to reheat something.

01/04/23 Zoom Night – Clifford Picket of Clifford Pickett Photography will be the Zoom speaker. He will present “The Ultimate Lightroom Workflow”. He will discuss tips and Lightroom shortcuts. 7:30 PM.

02/01/23 Zoom Theme Night: Minimalist Photography – Submit up to five images that express the theme of minimalism. You must pick one that you want to compete for a fabulous prize (a Gift Card).

Label images as follows: LastName-Minimalism-a – e.jpg. For example, Goldschmidt-Minimalism-a.jpg, Goldschmidt-Minimalism-b.jpg, etc. To identify the image that you want to submit for the competition, start the label with a “C” (for contest); eg., C-Goldschmidt-Minimalism-d.jpg.
