Paumanok
Camera Club
Located
on
the north shore
of Long
Island,
NY, the
Paumanok Camera Club takes its name from one of several Native American
tribes
located in our area.
Our
first meetings
took place in Setauket, Long
Island, NY
in
1971.
Guest
photographers, member tutoring, field trips, and monthly competitions
are some
of the activities that provide this friendly, social organization with
the
photographic information its members seek.
As members
of the Photographic Federation of Long Island, we actively participate
in their
workshops, seminars and monthly photographic competitions.
The
Paumanok
Camera Club is open to everyone with an
interest in photography regardless of level: beginners, amateurs
and
professionals are all welcome.
If
your interest is in improving your skills
and displaying your work, come join us.
